
Meet Anita Morar
Hi, my name is Anita and I welcome you to Four Seasons Counselling!
I am a Registered Psychotherapist and I welcome you into a safe and non-judgmental therapeutic space. I have been a dedicated therapist for the last 10 years committed to helping people navigate their emotional wellbeing and achieve personal growth. My Therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, compassion, and evidence-based practices. My aim is to foster a strong therapeutic alliance with each client, where they can freely express their thoughts, emotions, feelings, and concerns. I hold a deep passion for empowering my clients to overcome life’s challenges and find inner strength.
I practice from an eclectic lens and employ an integrative approach to therapy depending on the needs of each client. I have extensive experience working with individuals and couples who are struggling and I draw from a range of modalities including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness techniques. However, my main focus is Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) especially with couples. This means honing into your emotions to gain insight of self and others is the focus. Most importantly, I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual, recognizing the importance of their cultural background and personal experiences.
Through collaborative exploration, I hope to help you curate a healthy fulfilling life and support you in your healing journey.
Besides being a passionate therapist, I am a mother, daughter, sister, friend and caregiver.
