Frequently Asked Questions:

That will help you get started:

I’ve joined...Now what?

That’s an easy one! Your first step should be signing up for and attending a First Step Group.

This is a requirement for all members looking to joining our ongoing support meetings. The meeting is designed to introduce you to our rules and regulations, provide you with an idea of what our support groups look like and give you a chance to introduce yourself.

The First Timers’ meetings are about an hour long and will be offered one day a week unless demand grows. There is a one-time registration fee of $20.00 that is non-refundable and non-waivable. Please do not ask us to waive the fee. We have very specific reasons for this that will be explained at the first meeting.

Anything else I need to know before signing up?

YES! We take safety and security seriously. The names of attendees can be shared based on each member’s comfort. Only using first names is recommended.

This is a group to provide support, a sense of community and realizing that you are not alone.
If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us! Looking forward to getting to know you.

Based on interest, group sessions will be added. To begin, two groups will be offered a week, one during the work week during a lunch hour and the second one will be an evening session.

Sign up is required to ensure corium of a minimum of 3 attendees. Registration will lead to an email that will be send to the facilitators to hold your space. The name of the group “First Step Group” (for example) will populate the subject line and indicate in the email which time and day you are requesting to register for. Ongoing support groups will be free, after the initial session which has a fee of $20 (via Stripe).
